Why Parents Keep Choosing myFirst

myFirst designs tech for kids from the ground up, not adult gadgets with the grown-up features removed. Our best sellers span four categories: GPS smartwatches for kids who are old enough to bike to a friend's house but too young for a full smartphone, cameras and 3D pens built for hands that are still learning coordination, and audio devices with volume limits that actually mean something.

Every product here has one thing in common: it's the one families reorder for a sibling, replace after it's outgrown rather than after it's broken, or recommend to the parent standing next to them at pickup.

The Burning Questions

What makes myFirst tech different from a shrunk-down adult device? It's built around supervision and limits from day one — think parent-controlled contacts on a smartwatch, or a hard volume cap on headphones — rather than those features being bolted on as an afterthought.

Are these safe for kids to use unsupervised? Most myFirst devices are designed to work with parental oversight — GPS tracking, approved contact lists, screen-time controls — rather than assuming a kid should have the same open access as an adult.

What age range is myFirst tech for? It varies by product; our smartwatches and cameras are generally aimed at kids past the toddler stage but before they're asking for a full smartphone, while our audio gear spans a wider range since hearing protection matters at any age.
