How it works

  • Step 1: Power on your myFirst Fone R2 and connect it to Wi-Fi or a hotspot. After a minute, restart the watch once it's connected to the internet.

  • Step 2: Download the myFirst Circle app from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store. Create a parent's and child's account to proceed to the next step.

  • Step 3: Activate your watch and monthly service plan by scanning the QR code on the watch (swipe right to find it). Remember, you need a monthly service plan to activate and use myFirst Fone R2.

  • Step 4: Your child can now use the watch, and parents can track the watch and set up parental controls.

Useful, But Room for Improvement

This watch does everything we need: it makes calls, tracks GPS, and has safety alerts. I feel confident that my child can reach me anytime, which is so reassuring. However, the battery could be better; sometimes it runs out by late afternoon, especially if we’ve used the GPS a lot. It would be even more amazing if it charged a little quicker or lasted through a full day of regular use without needing a top-up. Overall, it’s a great product that does what it promises!

I thought setting up a smartwatch for my 7-year-old would be a hassle, but it was refreshingly easy. The instructions were clear, the setup took just a few minutes, and my child got the hang of it right away. They love using it, and I love that they’re comfortable with it. It’s so user-friendly – if you’re hesitant because you think it might be too technical, I’d say go for it. It’s a very manageable and reliable device!
